For the statistics... I installed today xdvik, version 22.84.10, on Ubuntu 7.04 and I have the same problem: "Couldn't allocate enough colors - expect low display quality." It seems that also the Inverse Search doen't work but this could be a problem of the LaTeX environment Kile. In the next days I will do some tests.
