Hi Janus, I'm not sure this bug is the same as the one you have. Your bug is giving an error when writing tags, whereas this bug successfully writes invalid tags.
- Can you open a new bug and describe exactly what about the tags you changed when saving them again, and pretty much every step leading up to the bug. If you can, attaching the mp3 causing this would be helpful. - Is MTP interfering in any way? Can you copy the file to the computer, and then open it with easytag so we can eliminate MTP from causing this. - Is it possible for you to try a newer version of easytag? Wily has 2.2.6 and Xerus has 2.4.0.
