Thanks for this! I've uploaded it to xenial, with one change: I made the version number 0.9.is.really.0.8.0-0ubuntu3 instead of 0.9.is.really.0.8.0-2.1ubuntu1.
I understand why you used 2.1ubuntu1. But normal version logic doesn't entirely apply here, since we've gone ahead of Debian in a weird way. Consider this (unlikely) series of events: - Debian screws up their own packaging and releases 0.9.is.really.0.8.0-1. - Then they release -2 and -2.1 updates. - Finally we go to merge with them and the sensible version number would be 0.9.is.really.0.8.0-2.1ubuntu1. So we can't use that same version now for a different sort of merge. ** Changed in: gnome-activity-journal (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1528389 Title: Merge from debian 0.8.0-2.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-activity-journal/+bug/1528389/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
