** Description changed: Hi I have ubuntu 14.04 running on Dell E5430. Backlight control is working fine, but cannot be controlled via function keys (Fn+Up/Down). When xev started all other function keys works correctly, when Fn+UP/Down is pressed sometimes event is registered after +/- 10 seconds, sometimes is lost completely. And the issue is gone after I suspend/resume the system :| After reboot the issue is back again. Let me know what info you need. Cheers.
