Just updated to Gutsy BETA, and brightness keys don't work anymore.

If I remove the power cable, brightness goes down, but if I plug it
back, brightness first comes back, but after a few seconds it goes down
again.

I can also see at /var/log/acpid that the script is being called, but it
simply does not work. This is the log entry I get from trying to
increase the brightness:

[Sat Sep 29 14:10:31 2007] notifying client 5474[0:0]
[Sat Sep 29 14:10:31 2007] executing action "/etc/acpi/video_brightnessup.sh"
[Sat Sep 29 14:10:31 2007] BEGIN HANDLER MESSAGES
[Sat Sep 29 14:10:31 2007] END HANDLER MESSAGES
