This is a little embarrassing, but I have now come to the conclusion
that there is some error in my printer. I did try ubuntu 15.10, but
then it occurred to me that I also should try older ubuntus, so I
downloaded 12.04 and got the same result.

I then got my sons macbook once more and the printer failed yet again.

This has taken some time due to a tight time schedule in the new year. I
am sorry for this.

Btw: the printer still works under windows 7, but even then there is
some glitches, I have to press the paper feed button from time to time etc.

I don’t know what I should do with my bug report, retract or mark as
solved?

Thanks for the help. I have ordered a new printer (repairs are way to
costly in Norway)

Yours truly

Bjørn Forbord
