Public bug reported:

I selected VirtualBox and clicked the green install button from within
Welcome. Got screen indicating that there were missing dependencies. It
should install a copy of virtualbox and add the menu item to the
appropriate menu. I will try to work around it with apt-get install
virtualbox in the terminal window. However, this could be a potential
issue for a new non-technical user.
