That commit (6add7cd618b4d4dc525731beb539c5e06e891855) introduced the
old way of adding memory back in 2011. The commit that fixes that is
cb5490a5eea415106d7438df440da5fb1e17318d ('drivers/base/memory.c: fix
kernel warning during memory hotplug on ppc64')
