I have a similar problem: When closing the laptop lid, it should lock the screen. When opening the lid it shows the unlocked desktop for a couple of seconds before showing the lockscreen. It is most likely related to this bug.
Same versions for Ubuntu, lightdm, unity and gnome-screensaver.
