There is still fwupdate and gcab not in universe.
There is no team subscribed to the bugs for the package on Launchpad.

There also appears to be some important bugs that could be fixed with
the next upload for fwupd; in the Debian BTS.

Also, tests currently don't appear to be run, although an upstream
commit suggests they are probably fixed now; this should be investigated
and corrected if possible.

Finally, since this would be running a daemon as root on the system, and
deals directly with hardware with the risk of breaking firmware (or
causing a denial of service with an invalid firmware update, requesting
a reboot, etc.), I think this warrants security review.
