That's strange. You're running Ubuntu 16.04 but have an old broadcom driver that's from Ubuntu 14.04. Regardless, the fix is already present in the official bcmwl driver in Ubuntu. So please switch to that, which should be: bcmwl (6.30.223.248+bdcom-0ubuntu8) xenial; urgency=medium ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1358966 Broadcom kernel module failed to build [error: macro "alloc_netdev" requires 4 arguments, but only 3 given] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1547224 Title: bcmwl-kernel-source not installed : bcmwl kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1547224/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
