this.
Please run 'sudo netstat -pant' send copy-paste the output here for
analysis. Also you could try 'telnet 127.0.0.1 3306' and confirm that it
works, and then 'telnet x.x.x.x 3306' with the host's external IP to see
if it actually can connect or not.
