Public bug reported: Hi, this is my first post here. I have a problem with ndiswrapper: sometimes when system is loading, I have a kernel panic and I have to restart manually. This happens also when system is started and I insert an external USB hard drive. I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 and ndiswrapper 1.48 (but I have tried also with other kernels and versions of ndiswrapper). My wireless card is an Asus wl-159g (it is an USB internal wireless card), that uses a zydas chipset. I can't use linux native module (zd1211rw) because with this the signal level is too low. This is the output of "dmesg | grep ndiswrapper":
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dmesg |grep ndiswrapper [ 28.616936] ndiswrapper version 1.48 loaded (smp=yes, preempt=no) [ 28.617135] PM: Adding info for No Bus:ndiswrapper [ 29.022845] ndiswrapper: driver zd1211u (ASUS,01/12/2005,2.23.11296.2004) loaded [ 30.037393] ndiswrapper: changing interface name from 'wlan0' to 'eth1' [ 30.050625] ndiswrapper (wrap_procfs_add_ndis_device:372): eth1 already registered?
