Public bug reported:

Dear friends.
I'm upgrading from version 7.04 to 7.10. In my desktop, everything's worked
fine. But in my notebook HP DV 6000 (6208nr) I cannot upgrade. It crashes in
different points everytime I try to upgrade. I got it once, but the new kernel
2.6.22 is totally unstable. It frezzes the note in different points. It is
impossible to use.
I've downloaded the Alternate CD (7.10 Beta), but I still cannot upgrade. I
have tryed several times. With the CD upgrade and the Network upgrade.. So far,
nothing.
My system
Desktop: Pentium IV, 3.2G HT, 1G ram, Nvidia GeForce FX5700 video driver, 2
SATA 80G hd, 1 Pata 80G hd, 1 DVD RW/RAM. Intel D865 Perl Mainboard.
Notebook: HP Pavilion DV600 series (dv6208nr), Turion 64, 1G ram, Nvidia video
driver, Wireless, 15" WideScreen, DVD RW.

Any further information, I'd be pleased to help..

Thanks a lot for your kind attention.
