Public bug reported: Using current 3.19 git, if you open the details page of an installed software which has an available update the page doesn't mention it and only has "remove" and "start" buttons.
It would be nice to have a mention "an update for that software is available" and an "update" button on the page I've reported that upstream and they said "So you can actually have the update button now; for xdg-app we support updating live and you get the extra button on details (so: launch, update, remove)." So maybe something we need to enable in the apt backend? ** Affects: gnome-software (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1558633 Title: Software details page doesn't indicate available updates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1558633/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
