In my newbee opinion, LCD monitors have their own screen resolution so gutsy sometimes shows out of the square mainly the scrolling bar on firefox is dificult to point with the mouse. I always have to proceed with auto adjustment for colors, brightness and screen position. I wonder if this is not one of the reasons that radeon cards (RV350 mine) sometimes scrambled the screen or display a black screen.
