@bhat3, @colan, Thank you very much for the feedback. I just submitted a debdiff in Bug # 1544352 for drupal7 as it is in 16.04 to change the deps to PHP7. It does work, in that I can setup a very basic instance and it ... runs :) But I don't really have the bandwidth to test it further. While I understand that upstream (drupal.org) may not mention these packages, the goal is obviously for a distribution to provide a self-sufficient instance. Would either of you be able to help test that version once it lands and indicate which if any of the upstream patches are relevant? Feel free to contact me offlist if need be. Thanks!
