*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported:
If user session is active and someone gets into chromium settings, user passwords can be seen withount any security step (in windows, user password is asked before showing passwords). As with chromebooks ubuntu is not locked when suspended, all my passwords are available to anyone. So It would good to put an authentication step before showing user passwords. ** Affects: chromium-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public Security -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1562543 Title: google passwords shown without asking user password To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1562543/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
