Public bug reported: Running Ubuntu 14.4.0.4
I have the root disk encrypted with aes-xts-plain64 After upgrading to linux-image-3.16.0-67-generic I was not able to boot getting message cryptsetup: cryptsetup failed, bad password or options? Trying to decrypt manually the disk shows the xts-plain64 method missing. After reverting to linux-image-3.16.0-62-generic the password was recognized and the boot completed successfully Thanks Jorge ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1563900 Title: xts-plain64 encryption method missing in linux-image-3.16.0-67-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1563900/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
