I checked at least 200 captcha entries without finding one readable one. I also fortunately found the workaround to go to login.ubuntu.com to create/update my account. This whole fiasco suggests that the concept of "heat" in Launchpad bugs needs to be reevaluated. Bugs need to be easy to enter and a system for evaluating the severity of a bug independent of voting which is essentially what "heat" is is also needed. In addition, it would be helpful if maintainers were clearly identified in comments.
