Hi I see my status as incomplete and the bug will expire in 55 days. I did my best to give you the required information but, as I already said, I'm stuck on a part of it, w/ dependencies issue.
On top of that, I gave some kind of "back door answer" saying that this bug is also present on release 14.04 w/ a different kernel from 16.04 which was the question. And this is the same situation on Asus laptop PCs, so I think it's general I hope you'll remove this incomplete status in order that this bug is taken into account and treated normally because wifi is essential on laptops.
