Public bug reported:

I did the upgrade to 16.04 today. When I put the system to sleep and
wake it up again I cannot see the mouse pointer anymore. While I cannot
see the mouse pointer I can hoover over buttons, see them change und can
also click them. The issue can be fixed with a reboot.
