I have never successfully gotten the nvidia drivers to work properly.
Before I used nvidia-304 because that seemed to be the only driver other
than Nouveau that worked... the other nvidia drivers just give me a
black screen

With nvidia-361 I get a different outcome:
I get to the login screen, and when I try to log in, it kicks me back out to 
the login screen.

The only thing that I can do to resolve this is Ctrl-Alt-F1, log in, and
try to undo anything that I just broke.

So there are a number of things that look wrong in the logs, and I am
willing to provide any necessary information, or try things.
