Upgrading to 4.7.2 didn't fix the issue for me. A lot of "painter not active" messages come up when launching from Terminal, but I'm unsure if these are relevant: QPainter::begin: Widget painting can only begin as a result of a paintEvent QPainter::translate: Painter not active QPainter::setClipRect: Painter not active QPainter::setPen: Painter not active QPainter::setBrush: Painter not active QPainter::drawRects: Painter not active QPainter::setPen: Painter not active QPainter::worldTransform: Painter not active
