While burning the ISO to USB, I did get an error about checksum didn't
match. I had taken the USB out and plugged it into another port.

During the installation, I had attempted to resize, and create another
partition to install Xenial, on a drve that already contained Precise
12.04. After struggling and not much success, I went back and belief
I've chosen erase and use entire disk. I had a message about 3
partitions be erased and this error followed after I clicked continue. I
had restarted the computer and chose the same method without going into
the partition editor and it installed without issues.

I think it's also important to note, but may not be related, that I seem
to have faulty USB ports (was installing Xenial via USB drive). When I
plug in a USB, the computer would freeze for about 10 seconds. If I
insert a USB3 into a USB2.0 port, the window for the drive will
disappear and will not be able to access it.

My personally opinion is that it is a error based on faulty hardware,
but worth looking into.

** Description changed:

It crashed during installation. I'm not sure why.
+
+ Update:
+ I had got it to work. What happened was, I was editing the partitions while
attempting to installing Xenial and Precise on the same drive.
+ I went back and clicked install, and this error occured after it warning me
that 3(?) partitions will be deleted.
+ I restarted the computer and clicked erase and use whole disk, and it worked.
