@ Matthew Gregg Yes is does have an nVidia card...but I don't think that's the problem. No matter which kernel I try (all variations of 4.2.0-35 lowlatency & generic)...I end up back at the same screen "end Kernel panic...".
I even tried booting from a second HDD and got the same result. This is worse than Windows Blue Screen of Death because I can't call and get tech support and it seems to have effed my whole computer at the boot level. I can access a basic command-line from GRUB by pressing "c"...but I have no clue what to due inside there to recover my computer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575274 Title: System Crash during 16.04 Upgrade from 14.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1575274/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
