Public bug reported:

The package "lightdm-webkit-greeter" installs two themes, "default" and
"webkit", that both contain the following line of JavaScript:

    image =
'file:///usr/share/icons/gnome/32x32/stock/generic/stock_person.png'

The directory "/usr/share/icons/gnome/32x32/stock" does not exist.  The
result is that the greeter screen does not display properly.

This is likely either a missing dependency or out-of-date theme files in
the package.

This was found on a newly installed amd64 Ubuntu 16.04 system (installed
today).  I installed the package via synaptic.
