Btw, the monitor/screen layout I'm using is:

xrandr --output DP2-2 --mode 2560x1440 --primary --output eDP1 --mode
1920x1080 --left-of DP2-2

That is, the laptop panel (eDP1) to the left of my external monitor
(DP2-2), which is my primary output.
