Actually scratch that, now that I read all comments it's the same
upstream bug, so yes, the package should solve this.

  I installed the recent updates in the Update Manager and after rebooting I 
wasn't able to connect to my wifi network anymore.
  It attempts to connect to the network and fails with the following error
