After fixing the aforementioned problems I also ran into the problem
that if I run backups, bacula refuses to write file-information to the
databases. Tested with sqlite and mysql. After running backups, the
correct number of files is reported, but only full backups are available
due to no files being in the database. The job-information is fine in
the database. Running bacula-dir in verbose mode did not throw any
noticeable error regarding writing to the db.

Anyone else having similar problems/have a fix?
