Sorry for the late reply. I've tried testing both those kernels, but couldn't boot wither either of them: I have full disk encryption set up on this laptop, and when booting these kernels I'm unable to enter my decryption password. The UI appears, but pressing keys on the keyboard does nothing - the UI doesn't update, and pressing 'enter' doesn't cause the typed password to be accepted either.
