eXcuvator, there is another workaround. Reinstall app-menu-qt5, and launch texmaker (for example in a terminal) with : env UBUNTU_MENUPROXY= texmaker This will disable the global menu in texmaker, the menu being now within the window. The keyboard shortcuts work perfectly this way.
