Hello,

I bought an HP ProBook 450 G3 last week, with AMD/ATI Radeon R7 M370
graphic system and Intel Skylake audio chip.

I set up a double-boot, with Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 14.04. The former
works fine, even with the default drivers, sound included. The latter
would not correctly work until :

- Installation of the AMD/ATI proprietary video driver Radeon Crimson
15.12 (found at support.amd.com). The system may report bugs while
building the kernel modules, but it works. When checking additional
drivers, you'll be able to choose between "fglrx" and "fglrx-updates". I
chose the second option and everythings works fine.

- Installation of kernel 4.4.0-22-generic offered through Synaptic. The
mandatory packages are linux-headers-4.4.0-22, linux-
headers-4.4.0-22-generic, linux-image-4.4.0-22-generic and linux-image-
extra-4.4.0-22-generic.

For an easier life, I modified /boot/grub/grub.cfg to ensure the 4.4
kernel is booted by default.

And voilà, the sound is here !

Regards,

RC
