Ok, here's what just happened, which appears to be a bug with the bug tracking system here. I hit post on the first one, realized my left / right mistake, hit the "stop" button on my browser, edited, re-posted. I was sent to the "mid-air collision detected" screen where there was an option called something like "post only my new post" and that sounded right. Seems it didn't work.
