Public bug reported:

I have upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04. few day after upgrading to Ubuntu
16.04., my internal broadcom wlan chipset did not work any longer. (Now
when writing this I use an USB wlan to access the internet.)

Due to whatever reasons the Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver
source was installed. I removed it, but it did not help.
