Hi I have just installed Lazarus. After the Lazarus install, the compiler could not find the fpc files. After many hours of we searching and forum chats, Paul from bug.launchpad.net came to the rescue and the problem was that the lcl component was not included in the install. Can this be be fixed please. On a similar note, the install package options are very confusing. Nowhere does it say "This is the main package which must be installed first". These are optional packages that belong to the program XXXX. As a first time user to Linux, this is very annoying. ********************** Thanks for your help. The GUI that Linux uses is Mate.
