Public bug reported:

The following has been reported to slack via their (private) ticketing system.

Using slack ("deb
https://packagecloud.io/slacktechnologies/slack/debian/ jessie main")
and with preferences set to "Message Display => Emoji Style => None:
plain text only", a numerous quantity of emojis in a single message sent
will crash the system and set you back to the session login screen.

This only happens with official "slack" package. "scudcloud" is not /
does not seem affected.

Definition of "numerous": 399 ":rooster:" emojis sent in a single
message is enough to crash the system.

To reproduce: install slack via apt above, get someone to punk you with
a single line of as many emojis as possible.
