I also have the frozen mouse cursor on my Gutsy Beta (amd64, using the fglrx driver provided by the third party driver dialogue, all updates until Oct. 6th) when I switch to a second user. I can unlock the mouse by switching back to the first user moving the mouse there, and then switching to the second. My video card is an "ATI Technologies Inc RS485 [Radeon Xpress 1100 IGP]".
