Hi Joseph, Sorry, but I haven't gotten around to trying the last kernel you posted. In the meantime, Xenial had a new kernel released: 4.4.0-25-generic. In this latest kernel, I can now dock without everything freezing - yay! However, I now can't undock without everything freezing - booo!
Somehow not being able to undock is worse than not being able to dock the laptop. Does this information help you narrow down the likely cause? Do you still need me to test the 4.4.0-10.25 kernel you listed above?
