Sorry I misunderstood your point. Nevertheless I was surprised to have to
generate another bug.
So we continue on this post.

Regarding your question
"I started w/ RJ45 connected and finally I got wifi from my box."
This happened just once in the past. I reinstalled ubuntu from scratch but
no wifi at all.

To clarify, is it consistently reproducible that if you plug in an ethernet
cord, and then boot up WiFi works?
