Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit
When pressing the hotkey "ctrl+s" the "goto line" action is triggered insted of the "save file" action "ctrl+i" will also correctly trigger the "goto line" action. I doubt this is related to #17276 gedit : ctrl+s != hot key save #17233 gedit : Many keys suddenly bound to incorrect actions $ uname -a Linux teacup 2.6.22-13-generic #1 SMP Thu Oct 4 17:18:44 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux $ dpkg -l gedit | grep gedit ii gedit 2.20.1-0ubuntu2 official text editor of the GNOME desktop environment $ xmodmap -pk | grep 0x0073 39 0x0073 (s) 0x0053 (S) 0x0069 (i) 0x0049 (I) 0x00df (ssharp) 0x00a7 (section) 0x02b9 (idotless) 0x02a9 (Iabovedot) 0x0073 (s) 0x0053 (S) 0x00df (ssharp) 0x00a7 (section) 43 0x0068 (h) 0x0048 (H) 0x0073 (s) 0x0053 (S) 0x02b1 (hstroke) 0x02a1 (Hstroke) 0x07f2 (Greek_sigma) 0x07d2 (Greek_SIGMA) 0x0068 (h) 0x0048 (H) 0x02b1 (hstroke) 0x02a1 (Hstroke) $ env | grep LANG LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 GDM_LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [gutsy] gedit "ctrl+s" triggers "goto line" not "save file" action https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150231 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
