Here is the behaviour patter we use on myPVR for the power button. First Press - Exit main MythTV Gui and return to MythWelcome This resolves the majority of gui lockups etc.
Second Press - Exit X and restart Basically we check to see if mythfrontend is running, and if not restart X.
