Public bug reported:

Note: This might be a duplicate of Bug #112568.

I've just upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy and now when I open my gnome-terminal
window, which is done through my keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+Alt+X, the window
opens perfectly.
But when I maximize the window, both through Alt+F10 and via the Maximize
window button, all window content goes black.
I can see the menu and window frame and stuff, but not the command prompt.

To make the terminal visible, I just have to left clock somewhere in the
window, but I can't find a way to do it with the keyboard only.

A very disturbing behavior to me who like not to use the mouse more than
necessarily.
