Same on BQ Aquaris E5. Workaround: Add some code in the beginning of the sms and you will receive status report by sms; the code will appear in the conversation window, the recipient won’t see it.
e.G. in Germany put *N# in the beginning (see http://www.sms-guide.de /sms-sendebericht-jedes-handy-kann-ihn-auch-das-iphone-662.html) - it works on my phone. in Ireland it should be *R* (see http://cgarvey.ie/archive/2009/09/22 /getting-sms-delivery-reports-on-your-o2-ireland-iphone/) It is not an evereyday solution, but sometimes it helps. A "normal" status report would be much better of course... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1590940 Title: Can't enable/disable SMS status report To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/messaging-app/+bug/1590940/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
