You have been subscribed to a public bug: I used KDE Kontact and Korganizer as my PIM under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS for years. I upgraded to 16.04 (Xenial) and re-installed Kontact (includes Korganizer). I can launch the applications. When I try to configure them to use a non-default data file, they crash. This is repeatable and still exists (Jul 2016). What have I missed on done incorrectly?
To reproduce: Download and install Kontact, or Korganizaer, or use the Ubuntu Software application to install them. Launch Korganizer. Select Settings | Configure Korganizer. Watch it crash with no error message.
