I did create a trusty chroot, installed the lts-xenial stack (mesa,
kernel, xorg) and apt-get installed successfully the virtualbox-guest-
dkms-lts-xenial package.

Setting up virtualbox-guest-utils-lts-xenial
(4.3.36-dfsg-1+deb8u1ubuntu1.14.04.1~14.04.4) ...
Setting up virtualbox-guest-dkms-lts-xenial
(4.3.36-dfsg-1+deb8u1ubuntu1.14.04.1~14.04.4) ...

of course the -vivid stack is not installable anymore and this is
correct since I enabled the xenial stack

apt-get install virtualbox-guest-x11-lts-vivid
