Public bug reported:

Hello,
after i suspend ubuntu 16.04 while not power plugged in on my Lenovo X240, an
turning on my notebook with plugged in power, the fan is not working. (No
chance, tested it during viewing videos to test if the fan works).
Only if i susped ubuntu again and resume ubuntu with no power plugged in, the
fan works again.

So it seems like i have to susped and resume with plugged in power or
suspend and resume with unplugged power. Otherwise fans not working?
Have anybody an idea how to fix that? or is there anybody with the same
problem / can reproduce that?
