I don't believe that this is fixed - though the nicknaming that is used for different Ubuntu components (Gnome, Nautilus, Nemo, ...) is unintelligible to a non-techie like me.
I have just tried to move from 12.04 to 16.04 and can't because the "Files" application (About shows: "Files 3.14.3" whereas in 12.04 it shows "Nautilus 3.4.2") has neither the "Browse Network" nor "File System" options. See attached screen-shot (I would attach the one from 12.04 if this website let me add a 2nd file) ** Attachment added: "files-ubuntu16.04-readable.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nemo/+bug/1548958/+attachment/4720563/+files/files-ubuntu16.04-readable.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1548958 Title: "Browse Network" missing from Left-Pane To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nemo/+bug/1548958/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
