Public bug reported: I'm using Lubuntu on a 2008 Macbook with hardware volume control keys.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS Use the volume control keys (mute, up, down). Volume control works. No graphical overlay is displayed. WHAT I EXPECT TO HAPPEN A graphical overlay should be displayed on the desktop when the hardware volume controls are used. It's worth noting that the hardware brightness controls *do* display a graphical overlay.
