I installed Linux Mint Sarah in a tablet PC. I cannot login unless I connect an external keyboard, because there is no Accessibility button in the login screen to enable the screen keyboard.
A workaround is to disable the login screen, and disable locking the tablet when it is inactive. This is unnecessarily unsafe. This is a very bad accessibility issue. If there was a way to detect "Tablet mode" and make the screen keyboard automatically show up, not only Linux Mint would benefit, but also Ubuntu and all related distros and flavors. ** Also affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags added: accessibility ** Tags added: screenkeyboard -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1475020 Title: On-screen keyboard is unavailable at login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/1475020/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
